What You’ll Do

As a Director, Software Engineering, the primary responsibility will be to lead a software engineering team responsible for design, development, testing and delivery of an enterprise class cloud agnostic / cloud native / cloud ready SaaS offerings using agile development methodologies. You need strong sense of quality ownership throughout the service lifecycle, from design to production use and ensure that quality is top of mind from the start. This is a hands-on coding, design and leading a team role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers. Work with Product Management, DevOps, UX Designer and QA to design, build, release, and maintain a portfolio of highly scalable, mission critical cloud native software solutions, that align with Veriato Workforce Behavior Analytics vision.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership by continually leveraging advanced solutions, innovations, and 3rd party capabilities in Veriato platform, platform components, and products
  • Provide technical leadership for Veriato’s Software Solutions as required for executive reviews, customer executive briefings, ISV/partner development, strategic business development, and customer sales calls.
  • Develop and establish operational SDLC policies and practices.
  • Accountable for and contributes significantly to profitability and/or cost containment of the software and cloud operational costs
  • Balance Business/Function success in support of total company strategy.

What You’ll Need

  • Leadership skills with extensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale cloud platforms and products that require a deep understanding of modern cloud-based and open-source development frameworks and toolkits including AWS, Kafka, Mongo, Spark, Kubernetes, .NET, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of building scalable cloud solutions with infrastructure as code, including latest trends in cloud development and DevOps methodology
  • Proficiency in microservices architecture, containerization, logging, and monitoring of SLI/SLOs
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills required, with ability to create and deliver effective presentations to Senior Leadership across the organization
  • Good at building relationships and proven ability to influence and drive delivery across a geographical distributed organization
  • The ideal candidate will have a broad experience which includes Software development, Application development and middleware, cloud/platform computing, Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to creatively solve Software engineering challenges and the negotiation and collaboration skills required to work with others effectively in an agile environment.
  • Experience with software development best practices including Scaled Agile, TDD and Continuous Integration; a track record of applying these methodologies
  • Experience with Cloud development and Software/Services development integration, as well as desktop/ mobile application development for Android or iOS.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team to solve difficult technical, quality, cost, and schedule challenges

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline preferred
  • 8+ years engineering experience(Cloud Software/ SaaS Business Unit exp)

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Core team, you will be maintaining and developing the client portion of our products, which collects data and is deployed to all protected endpoints within an organization. You will work mainly on Windows, with the opportunity to develop for macOS and chromeOS as well. Engineers at every level contribute to designs, but you will bring experience and insight to assist others with best practices and strategies for accomplishing tasks. You will debug and analyze issues, performing remotes with customers where necessary. We will work as a team to discover and analyze changes in Operating Systems and applications, adapting our product to make it compatible.

What You’ll Do

As a B2B Product Manager you will help build and scale Veriato’s Workforce Behavior Analytics Platform. Play the role of an internal and external evangelist for the product, while also partnering with the sales & customer success teams, and key customers. Synthesize ideas on delivery, planning and execution to identify new opportunities & create the next generation of products, building consensus and driving execution along the way. Ensure ongoing product growth and expansion by gaining and exploiting market feedback from customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employ best practices in the day-to-day mechanics of product management: capability ideation, feedback collection, feature prioritization, requirements writing, – – Roadmap development, and sprint planning within an agile development environment
  • Work closely with the UX Product Designer to shape great product experiences

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a talent for succinctly articulating customer challenges

  • Strong territory planning skills and ability to develop and execute both territory and account-based strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Experience working with Cybersecurity and/or Information Technology markets and clients
  • Skilled at navigating an organization from the security architect to the CXO
  • Experience negotiating 100k+ multi-year contracts
