Awareness Earns ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification to Manage Information Securely

Certification Granted to Qualified Solutions Partners With Top Security Standards and Practices 

Westport, CT – (May 4, 2022) – Awareness Technologies Inc, the parent company of Veriato and Interguard,  today announced that the organization has earned ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification. Security is a top concern of organizations worldwide, and Awareness provides security, risk and analysis technology used globally to improve security and stop risk. With the ISO 27001:2013 certification, Awareness and its brands, joins the ranks of a small group of internationally vetted solutions providers with the highest levels of security capabilities. Certification was completed by Perry Johnston Registrars.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an international standard developed to ensure that organizations manage information security, providing tools and services for customers that meet strict security requirements.  

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification demonstrates a commitment to developing, maintaining, and continually improving information security. Implementation of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 requirements includes performing risk assessments, developing appropriate policies and controls, and implementing advanced cybersecurity technologies. Certification is achieved by implementing 114 controls in 14 groups and 35 control categories.  

The certification audits were performed by MSECB, a global provider of audit and certification services on a wide range of international standards.
